Hello my Curly Babes and CurlFriends!
If you, like myself, often get frustrated with your second or third day frizz- then don't worry, I'm here to save the day! (or your entire life ;)
If you're a curly girl, you need to know that the best thing for your hair is moisture- and what better way to provide it with moisture than with.... water! In most cases, water is what our natural hair most needs and desires, and if you have longer hair, it is harder for your natural oils to travel down your strands, leaving the bottom of your hair looking dry and drab.
So, I bring to you one of the best tips that I have learned from the curly girl method thus far!
MY HOLY GRAIL LAVENDER REFRESHMIST

THIS MIST NOT ONLY MAKES YOUR HAIR SMELL LIKE A CRISP, FRESH LAVENDER FIELD, BUT IT WILL CLEANSE AND REFRESH YOUR HAIR AND SCALP ALONG WITH REVITALIZING YOUR CURLS!
The curly girl method creators recommend making in large quantities and storing in mister bottles everywhere- your desk, your car, your purse, your bathroom, and even keeping one at work! It's also amazing as a little pick me up or to help calm yourself down!
You only need TWO ingredients!
2 quarts water
5 drops PURE (not synthetic) Lavender essential oil
optional: 3 drops PURE (not synthetic) Peppermint essential oil
Directions:
1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil on high heat, then turn the heat down to low and simmer for 1 hour to get rid of all impurities
2. Remove the water from the heat and add your essential oils.
THAT'S IT!
Now you are ready to add it to your mister bottles (but MAKE SURE to let the water cool before transferring- don't be an idiot like me and pour hot water into a plastic bottle.....self explanatory)
I use this multiple times a day, I spray and scrunch my curls and they're like instantly new again!!
It makes an awesome gift for your friends and family, whether they are curly girls or not! You can also use it as a room deodorizer and even spray it on your bed and pillow cases!
Let me know if you try it out and how you use it!
